Urgent - Garrison pool closed
Due to problems at the Garrison pool it is closed today (Friday 30th July) and there is NO swimming for ANY squad.
Try water polo!
Senior and County squad who would like some water polo training can join in on Friday 6th August at the Garrison pool 7-8
pm after squad training. Older members of the squad may also join in the water polo sessions on Tuesdays at 9-10 pm at
Leisure World throughout August.
Changes to Essex Competition
Essex ASA proposes changes to the Age Group Championships, and other events in its calendar, next year. The attached
letter explains the changes. The programme for the 2011 Age Group Championships is here.
Friday session to start earlier
The training session at the Garrison for Senior and County squads will be at 6-7pm on Friday 6th August.
Summer Closure
Training sessions for all squads (except Masters & Water Polo) will be cancelled from Monday 9th August to Monday 30th
August. Training re-starts on Tuesday 31st August. We hope you all have a great break and look forward to seeing back
ready for the new season.

Essex Mini League Round 5
Colchester swimming club made it through the Essex Mini League season with an impressive unbeaten record, they now have
to wait until October to find out if they have retained their title. The team went to Halstead Leisure Centre on Saturday
evening with a positive attitude, the swimmers were aware that the main objective was to accumulate as many points possible,
